Children's Day is a holiday for kids, and also a day for adults to rediscover the meaning of "protection" and "warmth." On this joyful occasion, our XDT company's leader, Boss Rosa, led the team into the community, bringing a special holiday warmth to the children with our self-developed "AI Panda."
I. A Special Community Visit
The sun was shining brightly on the day of the event. We brought the AI Panda to the community activity center. As soon as we walked in, we heard the cheerful chatter of children. Some kids were already peeking out, eager to see "where the panda was."
When the furry, blinking AI Panda appeared on the table, the room instantly lit up. The children gathered around - some gently touched its ears, some stared into its big round eyes, and others whispered, "Can it talk?"
Boss Rosa crouched down, pressed the panda's start button, and the AI Panda blinked and said in a soft, childlike voice, "Hello everyone, I'm AI Panda, and I'm here to celebrate Children's Day with you!" The kids erupted with excitement, eagerly taking turns greeting it.
At that moment, all of us on the team smiled. The countless days and nights we had spent writing code and refining algorithms finally found their true meaning in the smiles of these children.
II. The Warmth of Technology Lies in How Many Childhoods It Can Brighten
At XDT, we have always focused on the research and development of artificial intelligence. In our daily work, we deal with cold code, complex algorithms, and rigorous data models. We are used to speaking through logic and proving ourselves through results.
But that day, watching the children curiously hugging and interacting with the AI Panda, their eyes sparkling with visions of the future, we were deeply moved.
There was a little girl, about four or five years old, standing shyly behind the crowd. Unlike the other children, she didn't rush forward - she just watched from a distance. Boss Rosa noticed her, walked over, and gently asked, "Would you like to hug the panda?" The little girl nodded.

The success of this community event would not have been possible without the full cooperation of the community staff. From early communication to on-site coordination, they put in tremendous effort. Thanks to their support, we were able to spend such an unforgettable afternoon with the children.

IV. We Gained Strength from the Children's Smiles
This Children's Day, we brought warmth with our AI Panda, and in return, we gained strength from the children's smiles. Those innocent, joyful faces, those soft voices saying "thank you," those curious, sparkling eyes - they were the greatest encouragement to us.
As the event came to an end, a little boy ran up to me and asked, "Will the panda come again tomorrow?" I said, "The panda will always remember you." He nodded with satisfaction and ran off smiling.
On the way back, no one on the team said much, but everyone's eyes were shining. We knew that this day meant far more than a simple community event. It made us rethink: why do we do technology? What do we want to use technology for?
The answer is actually quite simple: to help more people - especially children - feel the warmth and kindness of this world.
