Dragon boat is a traditional festival in China. The date fix on 5th May of lunar calendar every year.
People will make rice dumplings for festival. We call it “zongzi”. It’s very delicious you could smell out reed leaves when you eating the zongzi. Different place have different zongzi. Somewhere the zongzi is triangle and so many ingredients in it. Somewhere is cylinder and the rice will be more than ingredients. Someone will make sweet taste and someone will make salt.
Dragon boat race is one of important activity for this festival. That’s for commemorate “ Quyuan “ of ancient China. It also shows the strength of the team when they are competition. It’s very exciting!
