The working principle of XDT RFID and magnetic story boxes is based on contactless sensing technology (RFID/magnetic) + audio synchronization, with a professional electronic structure that ensures fast and accurate recognition and stable audio output, and the core parameters meet children's use safety and comfort. The RFID story box (LM-003) uses high-frequency RFID card recognition technology, with a recognition distance of 0-5cm and a recognition speed of ≤0.5 seconds-when the child places the RFID doll on the story box, the sensor quickly recognizes the doll's built-in RFID label and plays the corresponding story audio. The magnetic story box (LM-002) uses high-sensitivity magnetic sensing technology, with a magnetic induction distance of 0-3cm and a recognition speed of ≤0.3 seconds-when the child places the magnetic doll on the story box, the magnetic sensor triggers the audio playback. Both models are equipped with a high-precision playback module, supporting fast forward/rewind, volume adjustment and Bluetooth playback (BT 5.0), and the battery uses a 1200mAh/1800mAh lithium battery, supporting 6+ hours of continuous use and 2 hours of charging time. The memory uses TF card (512MB-4G), which can store a large number of story audio and is easy to update and replace.
XDT RFID and magnetic story boxes have unique interactive advantages over traditional story machines, with a combination of physical dolls and story audio, which can foster children's hands-on ability, decision-making ability and logical thinking ability, and the core parameters and functions are designed for children's cognitive characteristics (see Table 9). Unlike ordinary story machines that only support button or voice control, our story boxes use physical doll operation-children can independently select stories by placing different dolls, cultivating their hands-on ability and decision-making ability. The dolls are made of food-grade silicone/ABS material, with a cute appearance and soft touch, suitable for children to hold and play, and each doll is matched with an exclusive story, forming a "doll + story" one-to-one correspondence, helping children form a good logical connection. The story box has a compact size (8095mm/140180mm) and light weight (400g/900g), easy to place at home or carry out, and the shell material uses non-toxic ABS material, drop-resistant and durable, complying with international toy safety standards.
Doll and story content customization are the core of XDT RFID and magnetic story boxes, with flexible and diverse options that can create exclusive IP products for brand customers, and the customization design covers all aspects of dolls and content. For doll customization, we support appearance design (based on existing cartoon molds such as animal, cartoon character, or exclusive IP shape development), size customization (3040mm/4040mm/80*50mm), material customization (silicone/ABS/plush) and LOGO printing/embroidery (on the doll's body, head or clothes). The RFID doll has a built-in 256MB TF card (LM-003) or RFID label, and the magnetic doll has a built-in 128MB TF card (LM-002), which can store exclusive story audio for each doll. For story content customization, we support full revision of audio content, including theme design (fairy tales, fables, science popularization, brand IP stories), language (8+ languages including English, Chinese, Spanish), dubbing (childlike voice, professional narrator) and duration (1-5 minutes per story), and we provide free audio editing and optimization. We also support the addition of interactive questions in the story content to improve children's learning interest and comprehension ability.
Appearance and function customization of XDT RFID and magnetic story boxes further improve the product's added value and market competitiveness, and the flexible customization options can meet the diverse needs of different customers. For appearance customization, we support shell color customization (Pantone custom color, matte/glossy finish), LOGO laser engraving/printing (on the shell, bottom or button), shape modification (based on existing molds, small size changes for free) and exclusive shape development (based on brand IP), and the shell can be added with cartoon elements (such as ears, eyes) to make it more attractive to children. For function customization, we support function addition/removal and upgrade according to customer needs-for example, adding a night light function to the story box, canceling the Bluetooth playback function to reduce costs, upgrading the memory to 8G for more story storage, and adding a voice control function to realize one-click playback and fast forward/rewind. We also support the customization of the operation mode, such as adjusting the fast forward/rewind speed and the volume adjustment gear to make it more suitable for children's operation habits.
XDT has formulated clear customization requirements, MOQ, pricing and mold cost for RFID and magnetic story boxes, and provides a complete set of after-sales service and technical support to ensure efficient and high-quality cooperation for global customers (see Table 9). The MOQ for basic customization (doll appearance, story content, LOGO) is 1000 pcs for the story box and 5000 pcs for the dolls; for deep customization (exclusive story box shape, doll shape development, function addition/removal), the MOQ is 3000 pcs for the story box and 10000 pcs for the dolls. The mold development cost is quoted separately according to the difficulty: the shell mold cost of the story box is 13000 USD, the mold cost of 2 magnetic dolls is 3000 USD, the silicone sleeve mold cost is 1500 USD, and the mold cost of each RFID doll is about 1000 USD. The sample development cycle is 10-15 working days, including story box and doll design, content production and function debugging, and mass production starts after sample approval. All customized products comply with international safety and electromagnetic compatibility certifications (CE, FCC, CPSIA), with 100% quality inspection before delivery, and a 12-month warranty for core components (sensor, speaker, battery).
