Customization Process
XDT has formulated a 5-step universal customization process for all early education electronic products, with clear division of labor and strict time control in each step, ensuring efficient and smooth cooperation from demand confirmation to product delivery, and the whole process is accompanied by a dedicated project manager to track and communicate.
Step 1: Demand Confirmation & Quotation (customers provide detailed customization requirements, including product category, appearance, function, content, MOQ and delivery time; our sales team quotes within 24 hours, including product price, sample cost, mold cost and production cycle). Step 2: Sample Development & Debugging (our R&D and design team completes product design, content production and mold adjustment according to customer requirements, and makes the physical sample within 5-15 working days; the sample includes all customized features, and we provide a detailed sample test report). Step 3: Sample Approval & Revision (customers confirm the sample's appearance, function, content and packaging, and put forward revision opinions; our team completes the revision within 1-3 working days for small changes, and re-makes the sample within 3-5 working days for large changes). Step 4: Mass Production & Quality Inspection (mass production starts after sample approval, with a production cycle of 15-25 working days for MOQ 1000-5000 pcs, and 25-35 working days for MOQ >5000 pcs; our quality inspection team conducts 100% sampling inspection for raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products, including functional test, appearance test and safety test). Step 5: Delivery & After-Sales Service (delivery according to the agreed delivery term (FOB/CIF/EXW); we provide a complete set of shipping documents, including commercial invoice, packing list, certification report and bill of lading; after-sales service includes 6-12 months warranty for core components, free technical support and spare parts supply).
MOQ
XDT has formulated clear and tiered MOQ requirements for different early education electronic product categories and customization depths, balancing customer cost pressure and production efficiency, and providing flexible MOQ options for small, medium and large customers (see Table 6). For basic customization (only LOGO printing, color adjustment, partial content revision, no mold change), the universal MOQ is 1000 pcs for all product categories-this is the minimum production quantity for our mature molds, which can reduce mold opening cost and production cost, and is suitable for small and medium customers and trial sales. For medium customization (content full customization, button layout adjustment, packaging exclusive design, small mold change), the MOQ is 3000 pcs for most product categories (except high-end AI plush toys and projection story machines, which are 5000 pcs)-suitable for brand dealers and cross-border e-commerce sellers with certain market scale. For deep customization (exclusive appearance shape, function addition/removal, core module upgrade, new mold development), the MOQ is 5000 pcs for all product categories, and the mold development cost is quoted separately according to the difficulty (ranging from 1500 USD to 13000 USD)-suitable for large brand customers, educational institutions and IP co-branded projects with large market demand.
XDT has tiered pricing policies for all customized early education electronic products, with the price decreasing as the MOQ increases, and providing additional discounts for long-term cooperative customers and large orders, to reduce customer cost pressure and improve product market competitiveness (see Table 6 for universal pricing rules). The product price includes raw material cost, production cost, customization cost and quality inspection cost, excluding mold development cost, certification cost, shipping cost and tax (the tax rate is quoted according to the customer's country and tax type). For long-term cooperative customers (cooperation for more than 1 year, cumulative order quantity >10000 pcs), we provide a 5%-10% additional discount and waive the sample cost for subsequent orders. For large orders (MOQ >20000 pcs), we provide a 10%-15% additional discount and shorten the production cycle by 3-5 working days. All prices are for reference only, and the final price is determined according to the detailed customization requirements and MOQ, and we provide a detailed price breakdown sheet for customers to check.
