Bulk production -- 30 to 45 days for MOQ 1,000 to 5,000
Quality inspection and packing -- 7 days at our line, plus shipping
For a full custom cloud shape, add 30 to 45 days for tooling. For a custom eye module, add 14 to 21 days for firmware and tooling.
These are real numbers from our factory, not estimates from a sales deck. They assume your artwork and packaging are final when you sign off. If you change the eye color mid-tooling, that is on the timeline. ✅
WHAT WE DON'T DO
To be specific about what we will and will not do as an OEM partner. ⚠️
We will not build a product that pretends to be sentient. The Buddy has no always-on microphone, no cloud storage, no data upload. It is a plush toy with an LED module and a battery. If you want a real conversational AI companion, we can point you to one of our partners who specializes in that.
We will not certify a product for a market we have not shipped into before. Every certification listed in the catalog is current for the regions we have shipped into. New markets are 90 to 120 days of certification work.
We will not change the safety profile for a price negotiation. EN71 and CPSIA are not negotiable. They are the cost of selling a plush toy to a child.
